Take rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle on your left and turn onto rue Pierre-Fontaine. At the end of the street, cross boulevard de Clichy and enjoy a great view of the sails of the Moulin Rouge. Continue on your left towards place de Clichy. Head back down via rue d'Amsterdam. Here, you can stroll along some of the little streets that connect it to rue de Clichy.
The great shop windows, a necessary step.
Once you've arrived at rue Saint-Lazare, take rue de Caumartin towards Printemps Haussmann (with its iconic building and windows). Further along, the Galeries Lafayette is also not to be missed.
Next, take rue La Fayette to rue Saint-Georges and turn left onto rue de la Victoire to pass by the capital's huge synagogue. Continue along rue Taitbout, walk up it until you reach rue Saint-Lazare, turn left and take rue de La Rochefoucauld to pass by the Gustave Moreau museum.
